Interestingly, "Outlast 2" has been confirmed to be DRM-free recently, permitting gamers to play without the need to worry about company rights and ownership. However, one question asks if the game will have Virtual Reality support and, through a tweet, Red Barrels revealed their plan that the title will not get it right away. The second entry of the franchise revealed how fans should be excited, especially with multiple trailers already surfacing. It has now come from Red Barrels that the game will not be Virtual Reality-compatible upon the original launch. "Outlast 2" has some supposedly confirmed details despite lacking the most awaited release date.
